Alan Hennesy RIBA, President of BDP's partner company Groupe-6, is an architect urbanist with a wide range of experience in France and overseas.
Recent studies include:
- a varity of sub-regional development plans close to Lyon for the territories of Nord Isère (1000km²) and Rives du Rhône 51250km²)
- a structure plan for the growth of the Cayenne agglomeration in French Guiana
- regeneration masterplans at the multi-modal transport hubs at Annemasse, Valence, Cannes and Louvres.
- urban renewal strategic masterplans for the city of Saint Priest and the converted docklands at La Seyne sur Mer
- masterplanning and residential development of 700 units in Gurgaon, India
- one of twelve international teams charged with producing an evolved concept for La Défense, Paris
