  BDP reshapes New Zealand’s devastated Christchurch
  BDP, in collaboration with Opus, a major New Zealand engineering consultancy, Royal Associates Architects (Christchurch), EOS and ARUP, has been appointed to prepare design proposals for the regeneration of the Avon River Precinct in central Christchurch New Zealand.

  Prize winning Design in Dusseldorf
  BDP Khandekar has won the Düsseldorf Ulmer Höh design competition to redevelop a former prison site in Germany. BDP Khandekar was up against five German practices for the 5 hectare mixed use urban redevelopment project

  First ‘platform’ and cycle bridge built at Fokker Logistics Park
  The former Fokker Airplane Factory area at Schiphol Airport is being redeveloped into a logistics park. Besides the masterplan BDP.Khandekar also designed the public realm. Recently the cycle bridge and the first balcony at the entrance have been completed. The two other platforms will follow in due course.

  Khandekar in Quality Team ‘Waalsprong’ Nijmegen
  Shyam Khandekar has been asked to take part in the Quality Team for the development of ‘de Waalsprong’ in Nijmegen. ‘De Waalsprong’ is a large new mixed-use development, ultimately providing over 12.000 houses, a shopping centre and a multitude of other services.

  BDP.Khandekar wins competition public realm Tubbergen
  After an extensive pre-selection the Council of Tubbergen asked 3 offices to submit a design for the public realm of the town centre of Tubbergen. BDP.Khandekar won this competition with a scheme reflecting the characteristics and qualities of the surrounding Twents landscape.
