Northampton Masterplan by BDP

BDP Urbanism has been appointed by Northampton Borough Council to undertake a masterplanning exercise for the Great Russell Street site in Northampton.

The site is located within walking distance of Northampton Town Centre and currently accommodates a mixture of uses that need to be regenerated.

BDP has considered a range of development options and uses for the site and has already undertaken consultation exercises with both local residents and key stakeholders. The innovative vision will focus on sustainability and in particular will consider minimising energy use through alternative heating mechanisms.

Upon completion the masterplan will be adopted as a supplementary planning document and aim to both steer and encourage investment in the area."
