Mark is an architect director and he has contributed to many of the award winning workplace projects.
Mark is a bilingual (German/English) architect who has worked in the UK, Asia and Europe. He has extensive experience in design of office buildings, R&D laboratories, museum, healthcare and residential development with a thorough understanding of sustainable/energy conscious design.
His experience covers all aspects including liaison with clients, consultants and construction industry. He has proven leadership skills in managing creative interdisciplinary design teams, understanding cultural aspects working internationally, to achieve project objectives and high design standards. His communication, design and technical skills enable him to design and deliver innovative, high quality projects within specified deadlines and budgets.
He has successfully designed, managed and completed numerous projects from inception to completion.
He has won some of BDP’s most prestigious projects for major clients including BBC and Roche, which achieved best of the best in the BCO awards.
Mark is currently working in collaboration with Herzog and de Meuron on BDP’s largest interdisciplinary project, AstraZeneca's global R&D centre and corporate headquarters in Cambridge. He is also responsible for the facade development of Google's new headquarters in King's Cross.
