Michael is an architect director in the Manchester studio.
Michael has designed and delivered a significant number of high-profile, large-scale buildings across a variety of sectors including education, workplace and residential. He has a lead role on education projects across the whole of our northern region which makes him ideally placed to tackle the various challenges that can arise on school and higher educationprojects. A talented designer, he also has the ability to draw on the experience he has gained delivering projects to influence and direct concept design work. His approach enables the creation of innovative and inspiring places whilst providing clients and teams with confidence that the proposals can be delivered.
His recent projects include the International Business School at Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University (XJTLU) in Suzhou, China which provides 30,000 sqm flexible accommodation for the school’s three core areas of activity - research, learning and teaching and business engagement. He also worked on the award-winning Alliance Manchester Business School and is currently leading the team on the new science and engineering building at Manchester Metropolitan University.
