Oliver is an architect director based in Glasgow with extensive experience of large projects in the workplace and retail sectors.

He has worked on some of BDP’s largest retail projects including Elements Square, Livingston, Silverburn and Buchanan Galleries. His current project is the St James Quarter mixed use development in Edinburgh which will include retail, housing, offices and a new public square to create a vibrant and sustainable new city quarter.

Oliver also specialises in graphics and visualisation and has worked on a wide range of brochures, walkthroughs and presentation material for the Glasgow studio.

What will be the key characteristic of your specialism in 2015?

Retail projects have transformed over the last 30 years and it is likely that a further shift will occur in the next 30 years. People have choice in where and how they shop and projects will need to attract people to the places where they feel most comfortable.
