We will be attending and exhibiting at the joint S-Lab/UKSPA conference in Birmingham showing some of our recent science and research projects including AstraZeneca, the University of Cambridge, the Royal Free Hospital Pears Building and the Technology and Innovation Centre at the University of Strathclyde.
Keith Papa, head of science, research and technology, will present on the second day of the conference showcasing the Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology Building at the University of Cambridge which completed in 2016. This is designed to bring together researchers from different locations working in the fields of molecular and microbiology, materials and reaction engineering, sensor and biosensor and magnetic resonance research to promote collaboration and foster interdisciplinary working among researchers and students. This project is also shortlisted for a 2019 S-Lab award in the Engineering and Related Buildings category and the winners will be announced at the conference.
BDP is a gold sponsor of S-Lab, a not for profit initiative that is primarily funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), supporting world class science and improving laboratory design, management and operation.
