Gulson Road Apartments get Green Light

Planning has been granted for a landmark development offering 167 apartments on the southern edge of Coventry. It is positioned on an underutilised brownfield site providing a gateway to the ring road and city centre.

Two towers ranging from three to 16 storeys have retail facilities on the ground floor and one or two bedroom apartments above. A central street runs through the development, maintaining access to allotments, creating a shared community space. The scheme is socially and environmentally sustainable and is in close proximity to Coventry train station and has high cycle parking provisions.

BDP has been appointed to deliver the architecture and landscape architecture for the project which is scheduled to complete in 2020.
