Manchester City Council / Manchester International Festival (MIP)
Factory facilitates dance, theatre, music, visual arts and spoken word performances, enabling audiences to enjoy such activities in a world-class setting. The venue is MIP's very first building, which is extremely flexible and blurs the lines between the front and back of house, inside and outside, as well as art and public culture. The theatre and arts centre is situated at Allied London’s new St John’s neighbourhood, formerly home to Granada TV.
The building services have been designed to accommodate a wide range of flexible operating modes whilst maintaining acoustic integrity, comfort and continuity.
