A complete transformation of one of the busiest interchanges in the UK into a world class transport hub through refurbishment of the original roof and the insertion of new infrastructure.

The project, led by John McAslan & Partners, combined restoration of the existing listed building fabric with sensitively designed contemporary additions. We undertook GRIP 4 and 5 designs for two major architectural packages including a new over bridge, lifts and escalators plus the complete replacement of the iconic, double barrel vaulted roof envelope in the main trainshed.
