Context

BDP are working on behalf of the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) to prepare and submit an Outline Planning Application for a high quality and sustainable residential development in Euxton, Chorley.

The site is situated on the eastern edge of Euxton and is already allocated for residential development in the adopted Chorley Local Plan (2012-2026). It is accessed off Euxton Lane and is well connected to local community facilities and amenities in Euxton, making it an excellent location for residential development.

Whilst the site allocation is for residential development, policy also requires the provision of on-site allotments for community use.

As part of the planning application the HCA is keen to advise local residents and businesses about the application through a public exhibition.

The exhibition will allow interested parties to view proposals for the development of the site and more importantly it will allow the applicant and consultant team to seek feedback from local residents so that we can work with the resident and business community to create a scheme that meets local aspirations.
