The refurbishment and upgrade of the Grade II listed Old Admiralty Building, which was once occupied by Winston Churchill and Ian Fleming, was delivered by our multidisciplinary team.

The creative adaptation of this iconic building facing Horse Guards Parade includes the sensitive repair and refurbishment of the historic fabric internally and externally together with a full re-servicing and re-ordering of the building to create approximately 24,000 sqm of flexible, collaborative workspace.
The internal spaces have been modified through a careful programme of architectural adaptations, to optimize the floorplate efficiency and deliver a modern office environment within the constraints of the listed building. Additional space has been created over two floors for the Government Art Collection. This includes display areas and workshops, a suite of rooms for meetings and administration and bespoke storage solutions to support the collection’s purpose to promote British Art and its program of public engagement and outreach.
