Strategy

BDP is the first business in the UK to be recognised as Level 2 BIM compliant under the BRE Level 2 Business Systems Certification scheme.

We have been involved in the application of emerging BIM technologies for over 10 years with this accelerating since 2011 to address the UK Government BIM mandate. Coinciding with its publication we embarked on a journey to ensure the business was at the forefront of BIM adoption and could actively address emerging government requirements.

Through our involvement at the leading edge of BIM development we now have fully defined processes to make best value of the data that is now created during the whole building lifecycle.

Building Information Modelling is key to supporting our design process, ensuring we provide better building outcomes for our clients.

We have been represented on many professional institute committees developing documentation to support UK BIM adoption including; BSRIA Soft Landings and BG6, RIBA Plan of Work 2013, ACE, ICE, IStructE, CIAT, AEC UK BIM Standards and the development of the BIM Toolkit. As a result we are able to bring our cross discipline design and construction knowledge to best inform this critical debate, ultimately supporting our clients by providing exemplary buildings fit for future generations.
