Victoria is an award winning, chartered engineer. She is well respected by other designers and clients, sought out for her technical skills and expertise.

She has collaborated with a range of world renowned architects including Daniel Libeskind, Renzo Piano, Hopkins, RSHP and David Chipperfield Architects. Over a decade spent leading a variety of structurally challenging projects has given her a wealth of experience to draw upon.

She has a flair for rapidly identifying the key issues of a site and developing innovative solutions, underpinned by technical excellence, to bring these to fruition. She has led a range of complex projects including Great Ormond Street Hospital’s new Cancer Centre, Brunel’s AMCC3 warehouse comprising a double-height workshop and staff amenity space, and The Bio-Therapeutics Hub for Innovation, managing vibration control and demanding loads.

A pragmatic and realistic designer, she champions the importance of buildability, form and aesthetics when designing projects that add value. Her experience includes the delivery of the 52,000m2 Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre in Athens: the first large-scale cultural project to achieve LEED Platinum certification in Europe.

She has a reputation for building strong project teams, combining the right people as appropriate to the task and stage at hand. This includes her role as civil & structural lead on the Palace of Westminster’s Restoration and Renewal Programme, where she manages a team of highly skilled engineers in delivering this complex phased project on a live site, involving multiple stakeholders. With proven skills in the delivery of major, complex and architecturally challenging projects, she has proactively and efficiently steered diplomatically sensitive projects to successful conclusions.

Victoria is actively involved in the wider industry, having served seven years as a board member and trustee for the Institution of Structural Engineers. She has worked with the Royal Institution to develop and deliver their ‘Engineering Masterclass’ series, as a visiting studio tutor at the University of Bath and sits on the IStructE’s Professional Conduct Committee. She is a mentor and role model for many in her team.
