Adrian is a principal and leads our London team on retail-led mixed-use schemes.
His expertise includes concept design, masterplanning and urban design with an in-depth knowledge of the residential, retail and leisure sectors. He leads our London architectural profession and has won various awards including retail architect of the year in 2006 as well as having his work exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
He has a passion for environmental sustainability and believes architects have an essential role to tackle climate change through the design of zero carbon and low energy buildings and places.
Notable projects include: The Well, Toronto; St James Quarter, Edinburgh; Westgate, Oxford; Elements Square Livingston and New Cathedral Street Manchester.
What are your biggest personal influences? “In terms of design, Frank Lloyd Wright and Alvar Aalto, I am particularly interested in the drawings of Wright and the materiality of Aalto.”
