BDP's Workplace group is joining forces with the BBC's own Workplace Solutions group to build Pudsey Bear out of Lego for the BBC's Children in Need appeal.
BDP Director Tim Williams said "Who would have thought that a 'framework agreement' between BDP and the BBC would lead to such an extraordinary ursine project."
BDP, acting as designer, has made use of BIM (Building Information Modeling) to design the giant bear out of 120,000 bricks on loan from Lego. Following on from a series of intensive design sessions Pudsey will take about a week to build, completing in time for the appeal night on Friday 17 November when it will appear in the televised event.
The BBC said "Pudsey looks absolutely fantastic. We are set to raise about £15,000 for this bear and it really wouldn't have been possible without your help. A huge special thanks to the team for the amazing support and hard work, you guys are the greatest."
