Metaswitch Headquarters receives planning permission

BDP has secured planning for a bespoke 9,000 sqm office headquarters for Metaswitch, a software and network developer, in London Borough of Enfield.

Our design will accommodate 500 staff members across five floors arranged around a top-lit atrium with a feature staircase to enhance interaction between the floors.

Alongside the full height atrium, the design comprises a ground floor reception with a café, a state of the art data centre, a rooftop conference space and basement parking for 96 cars.

BDP won the competition to design the building earlier this year, working for property developer Stoford. Construction is scheduled to begin early next year with completion by spring 2020.
