We’re thrilled to announce that the new Indigo at The Well has won an award in the Store Design & Experiential Retail Category at this year’s Brand Experience Awards presented by Retail TouchPoints. Taking guidance and inspiration for a new store concept from UK brand innovation studio Dalziel & Pow, BDP Quadrangle, has transformed the 16,000 square foot space into a warm, vibrant destination that goes beyond a traditional bookstore.
Indeed, we are incredibly proud of implementing this innovative concept that seamlessly blends physical and digital experiences. Drawing inspiration from Dalziel & Pow, BDP Quadrangle focused on creating an environment that encourages exploration and interaction. The design for this store emphasizes a holistic lifestyle experience, featuring immersive product vignettes, a vinyl shop, a local roastery coffee truck, and tailored areas for kids and teens.
The store's warm, inviting ambiance and flexible layout are designed to provide a unique and engaging customer experience. We incorporated cozy reading nooks and interactive displays to blend physical and digital elements seamlessly, ensuring that each visit is both enjoyable and memorable. By successfully translating the UK design to Canadian standards, we ensured accessibility and exceeded brand expectations.
