BBC Tea Factory

Delivering a Glenn Howells Architects design and working with developer, Stoford, BDP acts as delivery architect for ‘The Tea Factory’. The project will reinvigorate the old factory buildings and the immediate surrounding area, delivering 84,001 square feet of new commercial premises for the BBC and 2,884 square feet of new leisure space.

University of Birmingham, Teaching and Learning Building

The Teaching and Learning Building overlooks a new public space that restores the historic masterplan of the Edgbaston Campus.

Leicester St Margaret’s bus station

BDP designed the UK's first carbon-neutral bus station. The building retained significant amounts of the superstructure allowing it to be wrapped in a modern, sustainable envelope. The design includes LED lighting, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, air source heat pumps, and 750 square metres of solar panels.

King Edward's School Sports Facilities

The new sports facilities has a prominent frontage on Bristol Road, giving the school a contemporary presence.

CST Trinity Academy

This new secondary school was commissioned by Skanska on behalf of Bristol City Council. Trinity Academy is a new six form of entry secondary school in the Lockleaze area of Bristol. Our brief was to design a visionary building which responded to the characteristics of the site. A cost efficient solution was provided and flexible learning spaces have been created to provide easy adaption to suit changes in pedagogy.

Chelmsley Wood

BDP was commissioned by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council to produce a masterplan for Chelmsley Wood, which is the main shopping and civic centre of North Solihull and lies at the heart of a large post-war local authority housing development.

St Andrew's Park, London

An extension of Uxbridge’s town centre on former RAF land providing a variety of homes, from studio flats to three bedroom apartments, and a range of tenures
