With the approach of the previous masterplan reaching the end of its ten year tenure, BDP was appointed to devise a new development framework, capturing the aspirations of the university's new vision and growth ambitions for the period to 2030.

BDP was appointed to deliver a masterplan that would ensure Warwick can become one of the world’s exceptional and distinctive university campuses. This exercise comprised of transforming the learning, living and working experience of students, staff and visitors, whilst supporting the local communities and providing connectivity to the region and beyond. 

The result is a masterplan that delivers on three fronts: A physical enabler of the University’s Strategy, a dynamic flexible framework to structure future investment and a visionary piece to shape wider initiatives of regional, national, and international partners.

The masterplan takes bold actions to encourage more sustainable forms of transport and introduces targets to reduce carbon emissions.
