Chris is an architect and Chair of BDP. He is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the practice and stimulating a people and planet-friendly approach to design. From its socially-progressive and multi-disciplinary roots in 1960’s Northern England, BDP has developed into a global network of city studios designing for all life’s activities. Current projects span residential, workplace, healthcare, education, sci-tech, retail, sport, leisure, culture, transport, and heritage sectors – all with an urbanistic and research-based mindset.
