Justin Parsons
Design Director

Justin is based in our London studio and leads a talented team of retail and residential designers from the UK, USA, Europe and Asia working primarily on residential developments and shopping centre refurbishments and extensions, both in the UK and internationally.

His projects also include designing unique food destinations and repurposing larger retail anchors. Having worked in Osaka, Japan and other parts of Asia during the 1990s his design approach is influenced by the restrained use of materials, careful manipulation of space and attention to detail. Completions include the award winning Meadowhall shopping centre refurbishment in Sheffield and Oxford Westgate redevelopment. Other projects include working with Ingka shopping centre developments in Algarve in Portugal and Wroclaw in Poland as well as completing three Ingka centres in China – Beijing, Wuxi and Wuhan. Justin is currently working on a large residential development for Berkeley Homes in London, a city centre retail refurbishment for Ingka, The Well shopping centre in Toronto and a number of creative food destinations across the UK and Europe. He is a fellow of the RSA and member of the CSD and has forged close links with both London Metropolitan and Nottingham Trent universities.

Most exciting innovation in design?

The most exciting innovation in the architecture/design profession is the development of 3D modelling and printing, extending creative capacity and allowing all our diverse professions truly to work together simultaneously and inspire each other.
