Jesse Klimitz
Principal - North America

Jesse is a principal who collaborates with BDP’s leadership in steering the future direction and growth of the practice across North America.

He oversees the Toronto studio’s strategic planning, business development and marketing teams, the NYC studio’s growth and operations, and the global evolution of our inclusive design consultancy, Human Space. Relevant project experience includes overseeing large accessibility and inclusion evaluations for large corporations and campuses, guideline development towards human centred environments, innovative research studies, community engagement and inclusive design consultation for major infrastructure, recreation, healthcare and education projects from concept through to completion.

Jesse is actively involved in the architecture, design and real estate community to spread awareness, mentorship and education to others on the importance of accessibility, wellness and inclusive design within the built environment. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Global Health Leaders Network and is a Fitwel Ambassador. He was awarded the 2020 Emerging Leaders Award - Leadership Category, by Construction Canada, a national awards program recognising those who demonstrate excellence and impress and inspire others in the architecture, engineering, and construction industries.
