Matt is a lead landscape and public realm designer at BDP who has delivered a broad range of significant commissions in the UK and overseas.
His expertise encompasses residential, retail, commercial and mixed-use schemes which he has overseen from inception to completion. Matt is able to take a strategic view on projects and carry works from sketch design through to planning application, detailed design and construction. Throughout his career to date, Matt has built important relationships with clients through his knowledge and passion for public realm design. His ability to adapt to working within a wide range of design teams in complex project environments is a significant attribute which clients recognise. Matt is an experienced freehand illustrator and this skill is underpinned by his – both of which have proved invaluable during the course of the design process. He prides himself on his approachability and good nature, fostering valued relationships with clients, industry professionals and members of the public alike.

BDP is designing two pavilions in Grosvenor Square, Mayfair, featuring a café, education centre & garden store, set for 2025.
New Covent Garden Market
The market proposals will provide modern facilities consolidated on one site for the 200 tenant businesses, which employ over 2,500 people.
Northern Estate Programme
The refurbishment and development of multiple Grade I, II and II* listed buildings that provide office space for the House of Commons.
