A transformative redesign and CAT B fit-out of the Blackfriars Road office in London for Latimer Developments by Clarion Housing Group has revitalised a 528 sqm commercial space to attract new tenants. Prioritising sustainability and occupant wellbeing, the project carefully balanced health, safety, and environmental responsibility. Existing materials and fittings were repurposed wherever possible, embracing the circular economy throughout.

Furniture selection was scrutinised for its low carbon impact, with Rype Office supplying remanufactured pieces from high-profile London offices. A significant portion of the furniture was refurbished using recycled fabrics, reducing waste and lowering emissions. The remaining newly sourced items were chosen for their durability and ability to be used across multiple lifecycles, ensuring long-term sustainability. The result is a workspace that exemplifies sustainable design and aligns with net zero carbon goals.
