The Creative Arts Hub is a bold and inspiring space designed to support creative expression in all its forms. Purpose-built across three floors, it provides a dynamic environment for performing arts, digital media, and traditional art and design. Its architectural integrity allows it to seamlessly absorb the ever-changing and energetic nature of artistic practice while maintaining a strong and refined presence.
Clad in black timber, the pavilion is carefully positioned at the edge of a tree-lined, south-facing garden, creating a striking contrast against its natural backdrop. The northern facade is intentionally open, drawing in soft, glare-free light to illuminate the gallery spaces, while also extending outward to create a bold and engaging frontage. The result is a structure that is both functional and expressive, reflecting the creativity it is designed to nurture.
Inside, lofty interiors foster a sense of openness, enhancing the experience of both artists and audiences. The Creative Arts Hub embodies the vision of City College Norwich to provide outstanding and innovative creative arts education, establishing itself as a state-of-the-art venue that both the college and the wider community can take pride in.
