BDP have set out specific targets for the building aiming to generate a minimum of 5% of the building’s electrical energy usage on site from pure renewables, i.e. Photovoltaics. Highly efficient boilers will work in conjunction with Combined Heat and Power units to provide the building with heating. Absorption chillers are to be installed as part of the energy efficient design solution, in effect giving tri-generation to the building.
