A collaboration between BDP, The Crown Estate, and Westminster City Council resulted in a design solution for the ‘Greening of Regent Street,’ enhancing the ongoing road widening project.

The layout prioritises pedestrian movement while incorporating lush greenery and seating to enrich this major London retail destination. Supporting London’s Wild West End initiative, the attractive planting from Langham Place to Waterloo Place promotes happiness and boosts retail success.
The project improves safety, accessibility, and air quality, introducing 325 modular planters and 62 trees of 14 different species to create a welcoming and engaging sense of place.
