Architectural design of broadcast facility including central server/rack rooms, master control and signal monitoring facilities, edit suites, engineering/IT service space, open office meeting rooms, kitchenette and staff amenities.
Part of a larger master planning project, Rogers Centre of Excellence (COE) consolidates master control facilities for television, special events and radio networks into a non-traditional open plan design. The master control area is the focus of the facility with support spaces located on the periphery. The open plan permits “follow me monitoring”, allowing staff the ability to monitor various signals from anywhere in the space, and can be customized to support special programming events without affecting the day to day operations of the facility.
