This comprehensive study developed concept strategies to create balanced streetscapes along Greater Manchester’s radial corridors, ensuring they cater to all users and the local centres they connect.

The strategy provided evidence-based, prioritised, and costed options for the potential transformation of these areas over the next 20 years. It focused on improving pedestrian and vehicle movements, enhancing environments, and integrating transport with community needs. A key aspect of the project was to align street and highway functions with creating better places that balance environmental, transport, and community priorities.
