Our studios
From Toronto to Shanghai, we want to create a friendly and welcoming studio environment for everyone. We organise regular studio events and international activities, both online and in person, to help people connect and build a strong sense of community across our team. We also encourage our people to get involved locally, making a positive difference through volunteering and fundraising initiatives.

Employee wellbeing and inclusivity
We have a range of employee-led forums that help keep us engaged and ensure everyone’s voice is heard. These groups play a key role in shaping our culture and driving meaningful changes to our policies. Open to all levels and disciplines, they give our people the chance to lead conversations and make a real difference in how we work together. Global teams with different backgrounds, perspectives and ideas helps us to design buildings and places for all.
Our equality, diversity and inclusion steering group. We’re committed to building an inclusive environment where everyone feels they can be themselves and truly belong. We believe that diverse teams make for inclusive places.
Our employee-led mental health forum, made up of trained Mental Health First Aiders from across all disciplines. BDP Mind is dedicated to raising awareness about mental health in the workplace, offering events, resources, and opportunities to support and enhance the well-being of our people.
This forum creates a space for open, two-way communication between leadership and employees. It allows people to share new ideas and be actively involved in discussions around strategy and policy decisions, ensuring their voices are part of shaping the future of BDP.

Our design approach
BDP is the original multidisciplinary house of design for the built environment. When it comes to the world around us, we design it all. We bring all the professions together, to spark off each other, to solve each problem from every angle.
