Tianyi is Studio Lead and an architect director in our Shanghai studio, providing day to day leadership including strategic planning and management, project design and project finance in China.
Tianyi has over 25 years of domestic and international experience in architectural design and urban planning, covering a broad range of sectors such as urban renewal, R&D, headquarters office, education, and mixed-use development. His representative projects include Shanghai Yangshupu Power Plant Regeneration, Suzhou New District Planning Exhibition Hall, CTTQ Global R&D Center in Shanghai, Shanghai Zhangjiang Science City planning and architectural design, Shanghai New Pujiang Center urban design, Shanghai East Jinling Road & South Yunnan Road renovation, and Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, etc.
Tianyi possesses extensive overseas and domestic learning and work experience, and has been deeply involved in urban renewal, high-tech industrial research and development, and headquarters office parks design for many years, accumulating a wealth of design experience and project works, and has received recognition with numerous international awards.
Tianyi has been appointed as a member of the Urban Renewal Professional Committee and the Medical Professional Committee of the Architectural Society of Shanghai China, and an expert of the World Architecture and Technology Innovation Tank. Tianyi strongly believes that, as our way of living changes rapidly, creativity and innovation will still be the main focus of the architectural profession. Evolving technologies change the way we design and build, and it becomes even more important to ensure sustainability is embedded in all projects across the world.

Artificial Intelligence is the most exciting technology and no doubt it will change the way architects work, just as AutoPilot technology is respacing our urban form.
