“Architects at BDP live and breathe our ethos of interdisciplinary design. This stimulates us to think holistically about today’s challenges, defying typical professional and sector boundaries to devise the best ideas for each project.”
Benedict Zucchi, Chair of Architecture
Our architects are passionate about the capacity of design to improve people’s quality of life. We are united by the simple idea that people should be at the heart of the design process. Our belief is that architecture should be regenerative, socially progressive long lasting and efficient. We create environments that are distinctive, sustainable, useful and beautiful – drawing on the character of people and places to make each design unique.
Our local knowledge helps us to tune into local issues and play our part in driving positive change and contributing to social value. Our network of global design studios ensures that we always bring forward innovative insights and ideas for all major sectors, including healthcare, education, science and technology, workplace, sport and retail.
Technical expertise, underpinned by the latest information technology, gives clients the assurance that we are always able to see projects through, from the earliest concept sketches and analytical studies to completed buildings.
The diversity and international reputation of our clients, both private and public, attests to our unparalleled track record. They include Google, AstraZeneca, Netflix, PwC, The Royal Albert Hall, IKEA, Berkeley Group, Great Ormond Street Hospital, the University of Cambridge and many more.
The ultimate testament to the calibre of our architects is the many places we have designed, that are used and enjoyed by people every day. Their distinctive quality has been recognised by the many accolades we have received, including more than 1000 architecture awards.
