 A Chartered Engineer with over 20 years of project-focused experience, Steve supports clients through the planning, design, and delivery of sustainable, net-zero, healthy, and inspiring buildings and estates. He particularly enjoys collaborating with diverse experts across BDP’s engineering, specialist design, and consultancy teams to deliver exceptional building projects.

 Steve has extensive expertise in education, healthcare, sports, and workplace environments, encompassing new builds, deep retrofits, and estate-wide infrastructure. He is a former director of Manchester: A Certain Future, the city's climate change strategy.

 In his role leading BDP's digital engineering strategy, Steve champions the continual development of skills and tools to support clients through data-rich BIM models and advanced energy simulation insights.

 As a leader of bdplab, BDP’s employee-driven innovation and research platform, Steve fosters client-focused research and innovative solutions. He actively engages with and promotes applied innovation from across regions and sectors, ensuring that BDP consistently delivers best-in-class global practices.
